Founded in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2012, Oak City Consulting encourages Gospel-driven endowments, foundations and family offices by helping them develop, implement and maintain an investment process that reflects the hope we share in Jesus Christ.
More than a catchphrase, Redemptive Institutional Investing is a description of how our beliefs drive our process and our relationships.
At Oak City Consulting we believe that when invested with excellence, concentrated capital is one of the tools that God uses to bless the world he has created and repair the broken relationships that exist within it.
Our process begins with understanding and sometimes helping define an organization’s mission. We then aim to minimize risk through asset allocation and select managers that invest in ways that honor and bless our neighbors. We report performance transparently and continually make adjustments to best serve the institution’s mission.
Our relationships differ based on the client’s structure and needs. Most commonly we partner with the leadership teams of foundations, endowments and family offices as an investment consultant or outsourced chief investment officer. In other cases, we provide assistance with a single asset class or performance reporting. At the end of the day, we are a resource to help faith-driven institutions shepherd the capital God has entrusted to their care.
